Welcome to The Quilted Bean!

At The Quilted Bean you will not only find original quilt kits and a wide array of quilting fabrics, but if you live or visit in the area, you can shop at your leisure while waiting for your iron-grilled sandwich and latte! We recently expanded our shop to include gift items from Primitives by Kathy and just launced Ole and Lena Take N' Bake Pizza.

We are located on Main Street in the little town of Velva, just 19 miles southeast of Minot, North Dakota, where Highways 52 and 41 junction. We’re a brick and mortar shop located in a historical building that used to house Velva Drug. We swear ghosts roam around when we close....lots of weird happenings.

	12 Months of Runners - Sleek and modern runners featuring applique. Fast to make. Come join us on Saturdays...the 2nd Saturday of each month in 2012. Who doesn't love putting a table runner on their table for a special occasion or to fit each season? Cost: $ 10.00
	Spicey Spiral Runner This gorgeous table runner is a stunner! Come have fun with us. Cost: $ 20.00
	101: Quilting Kindergarten We start with baby steps...don't worry...you can do it!! You will make your quilt top in 4 sessions. Learn cutting, machine piecing techniques, machine quilting techniques and binding. Go home with a completed quilt. Cost: $ 60.00
